Il Narciso del Subasio is a bright and very welcoming house, located just outside the ancient walls of the Castle of Collepino, in a truly rare and happy position: surrounded by greenery, silence and privacy, yet only a few steps from the heart of the village, its panoramic viewpoint and the small central square where the wine bar and the restaurant are located.
It is part of a semi-detached house of about 60–65 sqm, with a large private garden, a small olive grove and a convenient private fenced parking area with a gate that can be locked. It is reached via about 300 metres of well-maintained unpaved road. The owners of the other part of the house come only rarely, so it is easy to enjoy a very special sense of peace, quiet and privacy.
The first thing that strikes you is the view. Your gaze opens magnificently over the hills surrounding Collepino and the Umbrian Valley, with a wide, airy and deep panorama that accompanies your days from breakfast to sunset. It is one of those houses where simply stopping outside for a few minutes, or looking out of a window, is enough to change the rhythm of the day.

The double bedroom is bright, welcoming and enjoys a beautiful view over the valley and the surrounding hills. The second bedroom, more intimate and cosy, also has a very pleasant view and includes an additional sofa bed, offering further flexibility in the use of the spaces.
All the windows, as well as the French entrance door, are fitted with mosquito screens. The house enjoys beautiful natural light throughout the day and stays pleasantly cool in summer thanks to the altitude and the natural setting of Monte Subasio. Here too, as in the other houses in Collepino, temperatures are often 4–6 degrees lower than in Spello and Foligno, and in the evening it is pleasant to sleep with a light duvet.
The outdoor area is one of Narciso’s most evident strengths. The garden is spacious, highly livable and equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining, sun loungers for relaxing, areas where you can sunbathe away from prying eyes, and a professional barbecue that makes everything even more convivial. It is the ideal place for a slow breakfast, a lunch with friends, a summer dinner or an aperitif at sunset, but also simply for reading, resting and breathing in the silence of these places.
From the garden, by means of a short and quick staircase, you can reach Collepino, its panoramic viewpoint and the small central square in just a few moments. This makes Narciso particularly attractive for those who love the charm of the village but would also like a house with more greenery, more openness and very easy logistics, also thanks to the private parking area, which is rare and precious in a historic village setting.
